Industrial mSATA SSDs keep platforms built around the 30 × 50 mm mini-SATA slot in service: edge routers, ticketing kiosks, in-vehicle computers and machine-vision controllers that can’t be re-laid out. Qootec has built this footprint since 2014. Capacities run 32GB to 1TB on SATA III 6Gb/s with TLC or pSLC-configured 3D NAND, rated -40°C to 85°C, 2,000,000 hours MTBF and a three-year warranty.

What actually kills an mSATA SSD in the field? Rarely capacity. It’s ambient temperature in an unheated cabinet. Every unit is burn-in aged, temperature-tested across the full range and bad-block scanned in our own Shenzhen factory before it ships, and samples or orders under 500 units go out in three days.
